GED
TESTING
ACE
is the official Leon County Testing Center for the
GED examination. GED candidates who successfully
pass the examination are awarded a State of Florida
High School Diploma.
Preregistration
is required and conducted on a walk-in-basis. Candidates
may register for available test sessions. Test sessions
have limited capacity and will be filled on a first
come/first serve basis.

A
$10 discount on the GED exam is given to each
ACE student who scores 500 or higher on each
section of the GED practice test. |

Requirements:
- A
candidate must be at least 16 years of age
to register for the GED test. Individuals
under 18 must enroll in a GED class and attend until all sections of the GED Practice Test have been completed with scores of 450 and above.

Allow 30 minutes for preregistration.

To pre-register for a test, a candidate
must apply in person and bring the following:

We strongly recommend a valid Florida driver's
license or valid Florida ID card and a social
security card. All GED records are filed
by the social security number so it is very
important to verify the number.
- If
a Florida driver's license or Florida ID
card is not available, a valid passport,
military id or other form of government
issued (national or foreign) identification
that shows name, address, date of birth,
signature and photograph is acceptable.
If one form of identification does not meet
all of the GED Testing Service requirements
an appropriate combination will be accepted.
Outdated identification will not be accepted.
Identification other than a Florida driver's
license or Florida ID card must be approved
by someone in the ACE GED Testing program.
- Candidates
must have documentation indicating a Leon
County address for residence, work or school
enrollment. A driver's license or Florida
ID with a local address will meet this requirement.

Check:
An ID check will be
conducted before each testing session. Students
must bring their ID's to both registration
and to all testing sessions.
Absolutely no testing
will be permitted without proper IDs!
