GED
TESTING
ACE
is the official Leon County Testing Center for the
GED examination. GED candidates who successfully
pass the examination are awarded a State of Florida
High School Diploma.
Preregistration
is required and conducted on a walk-in-basis. Candidates
may register for available test sessions. Test sessions
have limited capacity and will be filled on a first
come/first serve basis.

Requirements:
- A
candidate must be at least 18 years of age
to register for the GED test. Individuals
under 18 must contact the Student Services
Office at 922-5343 for
options available to them.

Allow 30 minutes for preregistration.

To pre-register for a test, a candidate
must apply in person and bring the following:

A valid Florida driver's license or
valid Florida ID card must be one of
the forms of identification. The Florida
driver's license or valid Florida ID
card must have a local
address. If the drivers license
or ID does not have a Leon County address,
the candidate must bring proof that
they live, work, or go to school in
Leon County.

It is strongly recommended that all
GED candidates bring a Social Security
Card to registration.
All
GED records are filed by the social security
number so it is very important that we have
the card to verify the number.

ID
Check:
An ID check will be
conducted before each testing session. Students
must bring their Florida Driver's License
or Florida ID to both registration and to
all testing sessions.
Absolutely no testing
will be permitted without proper IDs!

EARN
$10 Discount
A
$10 discount on the GED exam is given to each
ACE student who scores 500 or higher on each
section of the GED practice test.

CELL
PHONES ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE TESTING CENTER

testing conditions may be available for candidates
with documented disabilities. Contact the GED Chief
Examiner for criteria and qualification information.
