Welcome to Leon County Schools Adult & Community Education

Leon County Schools Adult & Community Education (ACE) is the primary provider of adult education classes in Leon County. Many students enroll in ACE programs every year at the more than 25 class locations during the day and evening, making Adult & Community Education, the largest adult education program in Leon County.

How do I enroll in GED class?

The first step is to meet with a registration advisor to complete required paperwork, determine tuition rate and pay tuition. Call 922-5343 for the office hours of the advisor.

How do I enroll in ESOL class?

The first step is to attend orientation classes at ACE on Mondays and Wednesdays from 8:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.  or at the Leon County Public Library on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:30 p.m.-8:45 p.m.

 

GED Testing

ACE is the official Leon County Testing Center for the GED Examination. GED candidates who successfully pass the examination are awarded a State of Florida High School Diploma.

High School Credit

ACE's High School Credit program offers credit courses needed to meet graduation requirements for a high school diploma.

English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)

ACE's ESOL program helps adults with limited English skills to understand and develop skills needed to live in an American Community.

GED Classes

ACE offers day and night classes to help students prepare for the General Education Development (GED) Test

Adult with Disabilities

The Adult & Community Education Adults with Disabilities Program is designed to assist adults with disabilities in developing skills needed to be independent, contributing members of the community.

Senior Learner

ACE provides senior adults (55+) with valuable academic skills to enhance their daily lives.
