Volunteer Reading Tutor Training
To: Anyone wishing to become a Tutor of adult
literacy or Tutors wishing to be recertified
From: Literacy Volunteers, Inc., EscaRosa
Training for new tutors and those needing
Recertification will be offered in three sessions
(January 17, 24 and 31). There is no cost, lunch is
provided, and mileage for out-of-county travel will be
paid. (Escambia is considered in-county.) If you wish
to enter into a personally satisfying volunteer
service or if you have been a volunteer literacy tutor
but have been out of service for two years or more,
this is an excellent opportunity. If you currently
manage a volunteer program or use volunteer tutors as
a part of your organization's program you can also get
your volunteers trained. Please tell others about the
training because it is open to all volunteers needing
literacy training. Jack Newell, from the Panhandle
Adult Literacy Center, will be here in January to
conduct the Tutor Training
Dates: January 17, 24, 31, 2003

Place: J. E. Hall Center Room 131 30 East Texar
